Traditional Green Oak Structural Timber Framing Please see our Traditional Timber Framing page for details of our timber frames made from locally grown English green Oak or Douglas Fir. We specialise in the design, construction and erection of traditionally jointed and pegged green oak timber framed buildings and structures. Our timber frames are all individually designed and hand built by our small team of specialist carpenters in our workshop near Tavistock in Devon. We do not make cheap mass produced buildings and each of our buildings is absolutely unique and made with an individual attention to detail. Traditional heavy structural timber framing is an extremely versatile method of construction and the technique can be used to build anything from beautiful, durable, energy efficient houses and characterful extensions, to porches, garden houses and oak conservatories, garages, gazebos and playground shelters or heavy oak trusses. We also offer a CAD design service and a specialist glazing service for our timber frames. English Oak: We use locally grown Oak, Douglas Fir or Larch, carefully selected, graded and sawmilled from the round by ourselves on our own sawmill in Devon. Bespoke Joinery: Our small team of craftsmen will take on bespoke joinery projects. We use high quality timber and take pride in producing a fine quality, enduring product. Photos can be found by clicking on Bespoke Joinery Firewood: We have logs for sale in 1 ton vented dumpy bags or small net bags and we sell bundles of slabwood offcuts from our sawmill for firewood. Delivery is available in Bere Alston only at present. ABOUT US
